Lighthouse Sv. Ivan na pucini (St. John on the open sea) was built in 1853 on the most distant islet of the small archipelago in front of Rovinj. The islet is actually a 70 x 50 meter rock with easily accessible shore and shallow waters, which makes it a suitable destination also for children. Transfer from Rovinj is organized on request and with extra charge. It is recommended to arrive on the island early in the morning. Disembarkation on the islet during afternoon is difficult due to strong western winds. Provisions can be purchased in Rovinj, prior to arrival on Sv. Ivan.
The 23 m high lighthouse tower offers beautiful views. There is also a berth for smaller boats on the island. The two beaches with shallow waters are placed on the opposite sides of the islet. It is recommended not to swim far away from the coast due to currents changing. Depth of the sea around Sv. Ivan varies from ten to forty meters with rocky and rich seabed, perfect for diving and sports fishing.
The lighthouse consists of 2 apartments and accommodates up to 8 guests.
Ground floor apartment (suitable for 4 pax, app. 55 m2): two double bedrooms (13 m2 and 21 m2), kitchen (16 m2), toilet with shower (4 m2).
First floor apartment (suitable for 4 pax, app. 45 m2): one double bedroom (19 m2), one bunk bedroom (7 m2), kitchen (13 m2), toilet with shower (4 m2).

Apartment facilities: TV and satellite receiver, toilet with shower, 2 smaller and 2 larger towels per apartment, kitchen equipped with sink, stove with oven and refrigerator, bed sheets and two blankets per bed, drinking water from rainfall reservoirs, 220 volt electricity.
