Lighthouse Porer was built in 1833 on the islet of the same name, placed southwest of Istria’s southernmost cape, at 2.5 km distance from the mainland. Return transfer is organized from Premantura and it is charged extra. Supplies are to be bought in advance, prior to arrival on the island or can be arranged afterward at extra cost.
It takes only a couple of minutes to walk around the island, but the walk is magnificent due to sunsets on Porer. Exploring the surrounding and trips to the island of Unije or to the city of Pula can be arranged with the lighthouse keeper.
There are 3 smaller berths on the island. Swimming is recommended at docking places because of strong currents around the island. It is not recommended to swim over 50 m from the islet’s shore even if you’re an excellent swimmer. Due to strong winds during the day, windsurfing is recommended only to very experienced surfers.
The 35 m high lighthouse has also a ground floor building with yard, which consists of two apartments, each suitable for 4 guests.
Apartment 1 (app. 42 m2): two double rooms (10 m2 and 14 m2), kitchen (15 m2), toilet with shower (3 m2).
Apartment 2 (app 45 m2): one double room (19 m2), one bedroom with bunk beds (7 m2), kitchen (13 m2), toilet with shower (4 m2).

Apartment facilities: TV and satellite receiver, toilet with shower, 2 smaller and 2 larger towels per apartment, kitchen equipped with sink, stove with oven and refrigerator, bed sheets and two blankets per bed, drinking water from rainfall reservoirs, 220 volt electricity.
