Lighthouse Plocica was built in 1887 on the island of the same name, placed between the islands of Korcula and Hvar. The island was named after its interesting shape, it is flat and short so it assembles a small tile which emerged from the sea. In Croatian, small tile is called “plocica”.
The beaches on the islet are good also for small children – rocky seabed on the southern part of the island, shallow sea on the northern side with sandy lagoon with boat hoist.
Transfer to Plocica is organized on a fast rubber dinghy from Prigradica (island of Korcula) and it takes 10 – 15 minutes, depending on the weather conditions. In case of unfavorable weather and for groups of more than 7 pax, the transfer is organized on a larger boat with cabin and it takes from 30 to 45 minutes. The transfer is paid extra. Supplies can be purchased before arriving on the islet or the purchase can be arranged afterwards, upon request and with extra charge.
Lighthouse Plocica accommodates up to 14 guests in two apartments and it is ideal for a Robinson Crusoe type of holiday. The ground and first floor have an area of 165 m2 and outdoor is a yard paved with stone, tamarisk and century-old fig trees which create shade all day long.
Apartment for 6 pax: three double bedrooms (9 m², 12,6 m² and 13,40 m²), 2 bathrooms (4,06 m² and 6 m²), kitchen (15,10 m²).
Apartment for 8 pax: four double rooms (9 m², 12,60 m², 13,40 m² and 15,20 m²), 2 bathrooms (4,60 m² and 6 m²), kitchen (8 m²).

Apartment facilities: TV and satellite receiver, toilet with shower, 2 smaller and 2 larger towels per apartment, kitchen equipped with sink, stove with oven (no oven in the apartment for 8 pax) and refrigerator, bed sheets and two blankets per bed, drinking water from rainfall reservoirs, 220 volt electricity.
