PLOCE
Ploce is a town and port located in south Adriatic coast in Dalmatia, only a few kilometers from the mouth of river Neretva. Thanks to its great well-protected position, halfway between Dubrovnik and Split, Ploce has been recognized as the starting point for visiting the Neretva river valley. In Ploce’s hinterland, you can enjoy The Bacinska lakes which offer great refreshment during the hot summer days.
Ploce is famous for its natural beauties as in no other town in Croatia you will find so many different landscapes. Within 10 km from Ploce there are mountains, lakes, rivers, green valleys, and beautiful blue sea in front of the town. From here you, no destination is too far so you can enjoy the most beautiful Central Dalmatian islands Hvar, Vis, Scedro, Korcula, Peljesac peninsula and Mljet national park.
