FUNTANA
Funtana is a small tourist and fishermen's town on the Istrian peninsula, between larger towns Porec and Rovinj. It has Mediterranean climate with mild winters and long warm summers. Basic winds are bura, jugo and maestral . Bura mainly blows in the winter from the continent to the sea and brings colder weather, jugo blows from the sea to the continent and brings clouds and rain, while maestral, that blows from the sea in the summer, brings nice refreshment.
Marina Funtana is open all year round. It has 180 sea berths and 40 dry ones. All the berths have double moorings, water and electricity supply. The marina has a reception desk, air conditioned sanitary facilities and showers, video surveillance, café-bistro, parking lot, laundry, technical service with crane, diver services, market and WLAN internet connection. Fuel supply is at disposal in the neighbor Vrsar marina that is 1,5 nm south.
