SIBENIK
Sibenik is picturesque town in centre of the Croatian Adriatic coast. Krka River, one of the most beautiful ones in Croatia, flows into Sibenik. The town bay opens towards the open sea and islands through a narrow and curved channel. In the Sibenik surroundings there is National Park Krka with beautiful waterfalls and National park Kornati with its famous islands and islets. The most important means of transportation are buses and trains that lead to Zagreb and Split. Air traffic goes through the Split Airport (45 km distance) and Zadar Airport (50 km distance). Town and its vicinity offer possibility of accommodation in hotels, camps, private rooms and apartments. There's also a charter centre in marina Mandalina and marina Zaton.
Marina Mandalina is situated in the bay of Sibenik, on peninsula Mandalina. The marina is located 10 minutes drive from the main road and 40 minutes drive from Zadar and Split airport. It is opened all year round and has 200 sea berths along with 200 land berths. There's a big parking lot, restaurant, supermarket, showers and WC, workshop and land storage. Marina Zaton is placed on the northern shore of Sibenik, at 10 km distance from the city of Sibenik. Zaton is a small Dalmatian place, surrounded by hills, placed in a tranquil bay of a channel that connects the lake of Prokljan with the gulf of Sibenik.
