SUKOSAN
Sukosan is a small town and a harbor in the vast bay Zlatna luka, 10 km south-east of Zadar. The basic economy of this area is agriculture, vineyard farming, olive growing, fruit-growing and tourism. It is the centre of the municipality of Sukosan to which 3 nearby villages belong. The vicinity of Zadar airport and connections to the highway make Sukosan very easily reachable.
The fact that there are over 3000 beds in apartments, pensions, motels and hotels, and numerous well visited campsites situated near the sea, proves that this is indeed a tourist place. It became a real sailors’ paradise thanks to the marina Dalmacija.
Marina Dalmacija is the largest marina on the Croatian coast. It has 1200 berths with water and power supply on piers from 50 up to 85 meters length. There are also 500 dry berths and large storages. The marina is opened all year round. The marina holds a European Blue Flag since 2000 for its environmental management, sea water quality, safety and service.
You can find reception and exchange office, sanitary facilities, crane pass and travel lift, maintenance and repair service. At the marina entrance there is a petrol station and shop with the operation area that can accommodate vessels up to 55 m.
