KRK - PUNAT
Punat is a small town situated on the east coast of Puntarska draga (Puntar Bay) on the south coast of the island Krk, only 8 km from the town Krk. Once a famous shipyard for wooden boats, now it is a popular tourist destination, thanks to the one of the largest and best-equipped tourist marinas on the east coast of the Adriatic. Because of the marina's year-round operation and events as the regatta and Olive Days, Punat receives foreign visitors throughout the year.
Marina Punat is situated on the southwest part of the island Krk and it is one of the best protected bays of the Adriatic. Marina itself has 11 docks with 800 sea berths for yachts up to 45 m, a service centre, reception but also 400 dry berths all with water and electricity connections. Since 1998 marina is awarded with the „Blue Flag“.
Good connections of the Island of Krk with the mainland via a bridge and new motorway nearly all the way to the island provides for a fast and safe arrival for you. There are ferry connections to the neighboring islands of Cres and Rab an there is an international airport on the island itself (only 30 km from the marina). In the marina you can find sailing boats or motor yachts from 31“ up to 50“ for weekly charter and even smaller motor boats for a single day charter. Punat is also one of the favorite stops for gulet cruise guests that enjoy the calm bay and lovely beaches surrounding the marina.
